It all started with frustration and an idea
CamCrusher began when Joseph Salem, a New York driver, grew tired of opening envelopes filled with speeding tickets he never saw coming. Like millions of others, he wasn’t a reckless driver — just unaware of how easily 36 mph feels in a quiet modern car. He wanted something that could warn him before a ticket arrived, without adding another screen or distraction to his dashboard.
He brought the idea to Joseph Cohen, a longtime innovator and problem-solver. Together, they developed a device that works with the mind’s natural instinct — our automatic response to red — to gently alert drivers when a camera zone is near.
